Gusto Racing Team

Our team includes exceptionally talented champions making Gusto fly high. A big step for Gusto Racing Team in the 2017 season. Though Gusto was a rookie team, we started the year strongly finishing 1st in both the opening races, that success continued in round two as well and then we went into cruise mode for the rest of the season winning the championship comfortably with one race to spare.

AGAINST ALL ODDS

2017, being the first year, it was a huge learning for us as a team and the entire team worked passionately and professionally to achieve the dream target of every team. We also managed to finish 4th with the other rookie rider in the opening year. Amarnath Menon, coming in with less experience matured to become a champion with hard work and dedication. GUSTO Racing India also won the team Championship with a very good margin.

The team success was mainly due to the highly skilled professional technicians and continuous rider development and moreover the passion to overcome all hurdle with one motive. Having being declared Champions in the Super Sport Indian 300-400 Category in 2017, the hunger to win the 2018 still continues.

2018 – MISSION

After winning the National Championship in 2017, 2018 stands ahead with loads of challenge and we are preparing ourselves to face it. With Factory racing teams getting involved in this category the season ahead looks very interesting. With the same technical team which tasted success last year, we have strengthened our rider line up with another young talent to ride alongside the 2017 Champion so that we don’t miss to battle it out in the front for the championship in up to 400 cc category for Pro-stock. This year we are planning for a 4 rider line up and the riders are as below

2019

Zeal hustling began 2019 with a win and second completion. Gusto returned to winning ways and is likewise one of the not many groups who contended and won against the production line groups.

Motorsport in India

Motorsports in India is quickly growing with most of the manufacturers involving and investing to build a proper racing careers for youngsters. The Manufacturers one make championship challenge is attracting many youngsters across the country to take part in a racing penetrating into smaller towns and across all parts of the country. FMSCI (The Government approved Board for Racing) has been developing the sports and in recent years they have taken the sport to new greater heights.

Gusto’s Contribution to Motorsport

Gusto is one among the very few FMSCI accredited racing school. Gusto racing has been involved in training since 2015. Gusto has been training many youngsters average about 800 riders every year across the country. Gusto racing has been instrumental in providing training for racers and has been conducting many Safety campaigns across the country to create awareness among common commuters and educate them on safe riding as well.
